○Course description: This course covers the relation between thermdynamics and phase stability.
Additional topics include interpretation of phase diagram and equilibria as well as
their practical applications in a real materials world and patents

○Course description : Course description (학교교과과정편람과 약간 다름) :
재미없고 이해하기는 더욱 어려운 열역학. 그리고 별 쓸모도 없는 듯한 열역학.
이러한 열역학의 기본 개념을 이해시키는데 목표를 두는데 특히, 열역학 법칙들,
엔트로피, free energy, chemical potential의 의미를 이해하는데 중점을 둔다.
이러한 개념파악을 토대로 재료 (신소재) 분야 또는 실생활에서 나타나는 관련 현상을
열역학적으로 접근함과 동시에 열역학의 한계를 깨닫고 극복하는 강한 포스를 키운다.
